March 26, 2012 - Polyflow Names Polymer Industry Veterans To Corporate Board

Polyflow, an Akron Ohio based advanced energy equipment supplier names industry veterans Phillip Ashkettle and John Quinn as co-chairs of the organization’s corporate board. Mr. Ashkettle, the former chairman and CEO of Cleveland OH based manufacturer M.A. Hanna Co. led the successful merger of M. A. Hanna and Geon to form PolyOne. Mr. Quinn, the former President and CEO of Excel Polymers has a long career in polymer manufacturing including stints with Dupont and GE Plastics. Both individuals have served as advisors to Polyflow for several years.  Full Article (PDF)

Polyflow, an Akron Ohio based advanced energy equipment producer was named a NorTech Innovation Award winner during the 2012 NorTech Innovation Awards program held March 22nd at LaCentre in Westlake Ohio. April 14, 2011 - Press Release: Polyflow Receives Third Frontier Funding for Waste-to-Resource Technology Commercialization

Polyflow, an Akron Ohio based advanced energy producer was awarded a 1.6 million dollar grant by the Ohio Third Frontier Advanced Energy Program to commercialize a market ready waste-to-value recycling technology that uses mixed waste polymer material as its primary feedstock. The grant will further the development of Polyflow’s patented technology by supporting the design and demonstration of a full scale production processor in NE Ohio in partnership with Youngstown State University, the City of Stow Ohio, Defense and Energy Systems, PolyOne and Chemstress Engineering.  Read More...


April 2011 - Polyflow is excited to announce the award of 1.6 million dollars from the State of Ohio in support of the commercialization of their cutting edge process for converting mixed plastics and rubber waste into valuable gasoline and diesel fuel.
This patented process will be proven at full production scale through the operation of a 2.5 ton per hour processor.
